Job summary

Worldwide Logistic Partners, Inc. in Mumbai seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, monitor invoices, and handle vendor payments and bank reconciliations.

The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with logistics finance processes. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries, prepare MIS reports, and ensure timely communication on all accounting matters.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, disbursements, credit control, and vendor/customer account management.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or transportation industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping line payments, freight billing, and air/ocean freight operations will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and Macros, will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle AP/AR, disbursements, and Statements of Accounts.
• Ensure timely posting of AP invoices and monitor unbilled invoices to meet timelines.
• Manage credit control activities, payment follow-ups, and remittance tracking.
• Prepare and share invoices and Statements of Accounts with customers and agents on time.
• Handle vendor payments, shipping line payments, bank reconciliations, and vendor contract management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, agents, and stakeholders to resolve accounting queries, disputes, and claims.
• Perform audit checks, quality checks, and gap analysis for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, presentations, and periodic performance reports.
• Analyse accounting data, identify discrepancies, and provide timely resolutions to issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for accounting-related matters and ensure prompt communication with all stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, disbursements, credit control, and vendor/customer account management.
• Prior experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or transportation industry is preferred.

• Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, LogiSys, and CargoWise is preferred.

• Strong communication, analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports, perform data analysis, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Shift Timings & Availability:-

• Male Candidates: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
• Female Candidates: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in the assigned shift and providing six-day workweek coverage.
