Job summary

ARCHER Transnational Systems Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Accounting Manager in Vadodara to oversee the Accounts/Finance department, including AP, GL, banking, reconciliations, fixed assets, inter-company accounting and tax compliance.

The role requires CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA with 5+ years in accounting and 2-3 years of supervisory experience, plus strong English communication and Excel skills. Oracle NetSuite experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant/CPA/CIMA/ACCA with relevant finance qualifications.
• 5+ years in Accounting/Finance; 2-3 years supervisory experience, preferably in BPO/KPO/ITES.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is highly preferred; familiar with other accounting apps.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise team members on all accounting processes.
• Attend periodic meetings and provide analytical support for management evaluation.
• Prepare and improve monthly financial and operational management reports.
• Support QSF Admin and Accounting team for reports.
• Ensure timely monthly book closure in Oracle NetSuite and QuickBooks.
• Interface with multiple banks for banking transactions.
• Develop and publish KPIs reporting metrics.
• Prepare financial trends and variance analyses to aid operational actions.
• Lead and develop accounting staff to build an efficient team.
• Set goals and conduct performance evaluations; adhere to company policies.

Shift Hours: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with flexibility to work 5:00 pm to 2:00 am or 6:00 pm to 3:00 am as per business requirements

Job Summary:

Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising a team of accountants overseeing all the Accounts/Finance department activities including but not limited to Accounts Payable, GL Accounting, Banking, Bank Account & Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Prepaid Expenses/Amortization, Depreciation, Inter-Company Accounting, External Audit support, Financial Reporting, Tax & Statutory Compliance etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train and supervise team members on all accounting processes mentioned above
• Attend periodic meetings and provide analytical support for management evaluation
• Prepare & improve monthly financial & operational management reports
• Support QSF Admin & QSF Accounting team for reports
• Ensuring timely monthly book closure in Oracle NetSuite and Quick Books
• Interface with multiple bank platforms to account for banking transactions
• Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs
• Prepare financial trends and variance analyses comparing current operating results with prior operating results for operational actions
• Hire, train, develop and lead the Accounting staff with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to create an efficient, high functioning team
• Setting goals & objectives of team members and conducting performance evaluation Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team Understand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets and confidentiality of all information

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE :

• Chartered Accountant/CPA/CIMA/ACCA
• 5+ years of work experience in Accounting/Finance, including 2-3 years supervisory experience preferably in BPO/KPO/ITES industry.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite highly preferred
• Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills
• Strong ability to collaborate with all levels across the organization
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability Strong attention to detail
• Work under stress with interruptions and deadlines
• Supporting & coordinating with onshore team based out of US offices
