Job Description
An Academic Registrar - Urology is responsible for coordinating academic, clinical training, and educational activities within the Urology department. The involves managing trainee schedules and rotations, coordinating lectures and case discussions, maintaining academic records, supporting assessments and research activities, facilitating communication between faculty and trainees, and assisting with educational programs, accreditation requirements, and departmental academic administration.
- Coordinate academic and clinical training activities within the Urology department.
- Prepare and maintain trainee schedules, rotations, and academic calendars.
- Coordinate lectures, seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, and teaching sessions.
- Maintain attendance and participation records for academic activities.
- Coordinate examinations, assessments, presentations, and trainee evaluations.
- Maintain accurate academic and training documentation.
- Facilitate communication between faculty members, consultants, and trainees.
- Track trainee progress and assist with performance documentation.
- Coordinate clinical teaching activities with relevant departments.
- Support research projects, publications, presentations, and academic initiatives.
- Assist in organizing conferences, workshops, CME programs, and departmental events.
- Prepare academic reports, schedules, minutes, and related correspondence.
- Maintain records required for institutional and academic accreditation.
- Coordinate departmental meetings and follow up on assigned academic action points.
- Support onboarding and orientation activities for new trainees.
- Assist faculty members with academic administration and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with institutional academic policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of trainee, academic, and departmental information.
