  • Assist with patient assessment and routine care, monitoring vital signs, and supporting treatment activities within authorized scope.

Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses in providing routine patient care.
  • Monitor and record vital signs as assigned.
  • Support patient hygiene, grooming, nutrition, and comfort.
  • Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, investigations, and procedures.
  • Assist nursing staff during clinical procedures within authorized scope.
  • Observe patients and report changes in condition to the responsible nurse.
  • Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge activities.
  • Maintain accurate nursing and patient care documentation.
  • Assist with prescribed treatments and medication-related activities as permitted.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas.
  • Follow hand hygiene and infection prevention protocols.
  • Assist with biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
  • Check and arrange routine nursing supplies and equipment.
  • Assist patients and families with basic care-related information.
  • Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Follow nursing protocols, hospital policies, and safety standards.
