Job summary

Veolia in Mayo is seeking a Construction Site Agent to lead on-site delivery for water/wastewater projects. The role involves heavy civils, dewatering, sheet piling, and pipework installation with a strong emphasis on H&S leadership on site.

The successful candidate will manage the site team and subcontractors, liaise with Veolia Design and Project Management Teams, Client, and Operations, and contribute to project reporting and continual improvement across multiple sectors including industrial

Qualifications

Civil or trade background with progression to management
10 years’ experience on multi-discipline site projects, preferably water or wastewater
Up to 10 years’ site management experience in water/wastewater
Full clean driving licence
Excellent oral and written reporting skills
Good communication skills; familiarity with Google tools is an advantage
IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar preferred

Responsibilities

Manage and run all on-site activities for Veolia projects
Develop and maintain H&S files on site
Plan project with Project Manager ensuring specs and health & safety compliance
Lead site team and subcontractors; ensure quality, safety and environmental management
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and attend client meetings
Schedule all work on site; manage permits and risk assessments
