Job summary

Citco Group Limited in Dublin seeks an experienced Loan Operations leader to oversee syndicated and bilateral loan portfolios, driving accuracy and efficiency in a complex client landscape.

You will manage a team of portfolio managers, coordinate with treasury, and design training to uphold robust controls and standardized processes, while delivering high-quality loan servicing for diverse clients in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year college degree and 5 years of experience in asset management or portfolio monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience managing teams and mentoring staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external clients.
• Experience interacting with relationship managers and other departments.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a robust control environment and SOP adherence.
• Familiarity with Sentry PM or Cassiopeia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client portfolios of syndicated and/or bilateral loan facilities, typically 50–100 per portfolio.
• Oversee a team of 5–10 portfolio managers ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Administer syndicated and bilateral loan portfolios, including processing drawdowns and fees.
• Read and interpret credit agreements; support related software processes.
• Ensure accurate processing of drawdowns, paydowns, and fee transactions.
• Secure, collect, and reconcile all monies due.
• Coordinate funding requirements with the Treasury Desk for all portfolios.
• Oversee invoicing and remittance processing.
• Maintain and improve standard processes within a robust control environment.
• Design and deliver training for new hires on loan-servicing fundamentals.

About the Team & Business Line

The Loan Operations team has expanded significantly across our private‑credit client base and continues to scale in response to evolving market trends. Our goal is to build and sustain a high‑performing team that learns, adapts, and achieves excellence in a complex client landscape.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client portfolios of syndicated and/or bilateral loan facilities, typically 50–100.0 facilities per portfolio.
• Oversee a team of 5–10 portfolio managers, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Administer syndicated and bilateral loan portfolios, including processing drawdowns, paydowns, and fees.
• Read and interpret credit agreements; support associated software processes.
• Ensure accurate processing of new drawdowns, paydowns, and fee transactions for syndicated and bilateral deals.
• Secure, collect, and reconcile all monies due and payable.
• Coordinate funding requirements with the Treasury Desk for all managed loan portfolios.
• Oversee invoicing and remittance processing.
• Maintain and continuously improve standard processes within a robust control environment.
• Design and deliver training for new hires on standard processes and loan‑servicing fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4‑year college degree and 5 years of experience in asset management or portfolio monitoring.
• Highly focused, accurate, and detail‑oriented.
• Team‑oriented with the willingness to back up and cross‑train on all departmental functions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience communicating with external and internal customers, including relationship managers and other departments.
• Minimum of 5 years of people‑management experience.
• Proficient in maintaining a control environment and adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Flexible and comfortable adapting to fluid operational requirements and deliverables.
• Experience with Sentry PM or Cassiopeia is a distinct advantage.
