Job summary

Respond! is seeking a Relief Contact Worker in Limerick to support homeless services. The role requires trauma-informed practice, strong teamwork, and flexibility to cover nights and weekends as needed.

The successful candidate will be involved in maintaining PASS records, ensuring safety, and working within a housing-led framework. A Level 6 apprenticeship is required and Garda Vetting will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• Experience with case/work records in social care settings preferred.
• Apprenticeship level 6 or equivalent qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma‑informed support and interventions to service users.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Work from a housing-led approach and support colleagues.
• Maintain professional records and update PASS system.
• Ensure a safe, clean living environment and report safety incidents.
• Uphold professional boundaries and participate in CPD.
