Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Ireland. Based in Dublin or Dundalk, you will plan and design road, rail, and active travel projects, contributing to statutory processes and contract documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You should have consultancy experience, a degree in engineering, and be working towards Chartered Engineer status. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consultancy environment.
• Engineering degree (Level 8/9).
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads) desirable.
• Experience in planning and design of transportation schemes in Ireland.
• Ability to oversee production of designs and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design road, rail, public transport and active travel projects.
• Input to EIAR, CPO and other statutory processes.
• Prepare contract documents and administer contracts.
• Provide construction supervision.
• Coordinate procurement processes.
• Lead or contribute to design production and reporting.
