Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Engineer to plan and design road and active travel schemes in Ireland, based in Dublin or Cork. You will oversee motorway contracts, manage procurement, and prepare contract documentation while supervising construction activities.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, working toward Chartered status, and experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or OpenRoads, with strong communication and teamworking skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Level 8/9) with transport focus is preferred.
• Experience in consultancy environment and transportation schemes.
• Knowledge of design standards and ability to translate into buildable designs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design road and active travel projects across Ireland.
• Manage motorway operation and maintenance contracts and procurement processes.
• Prepare contract documents, administer contracts and supervise construction.
