AtkinsRéalis, located in Dublin, is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Transportation business. The role will focus on planning and designing transport projects including road and rail throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering degree, consultancy experience, and familiarity with design standards and software.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of design standards and ability to translate this knowledge into value for money designs.
• Experience in preparing and supervising construction contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design road, rail, public transport, and active travel projects.
• Draft contract documents and manage procurement processes.
• Oversee construction supervision and ensure compliance with design standards.

Skills

Interpersonal communication skills

Ability to lead and manage design teams

Computer literate and experience with design software

Education

Degree level in engineering (Level 8/9)

Chartered Engineer or close to attaining Chartership
