Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland seeks a Principal Engineer for planning and design of transport projects. Based in Dublin or Dundalk, you will lead the management and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel schemes across Ireland.

You will contribute to statutory processes, procurement, contract documentation, and construction supervision, while developing client relationships and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver value and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience in consultancy environment.
Degree in engineering (Level 8/9).
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
Experience in planning and design of transportation schemes, preferably in Ireland.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams and projects.
Ability to develop tender proposals and win new commissions.
Willingness to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

Manage, plan and design road, rail, public transport and active travel projects across Ireland.
Input to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO), procurement, contract documents, contract administration, construction supervision and commercial management.
