Job summary
AtkinsRéalis seeks a Project Engineer to plan and design transportation schemes across Ireland, including road, rail and active travel projects. You will contribute to EIAR, CPO processes, procurement, contract documents, and construction supervision.
The role requires consultancy experience, a Level 8/9 engineering degree, and progress toward Chartered Engineer status, with proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Bentley OpenRoads desirable.
Qualifications
- Experience in a consultancy environment.
- Engineering degree (Level 8/9).
- Pursuing Chartered Engineer status.
- Proficient with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads) preferred.
- Knowledge of design standards and ability to translate into buildable designs.
- Experience in planning/design of transport schemes (Ireland).
- Oversee design production and report writing.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Flexible, multi-tasking, team or independent work.
- Integrity and commitment to company values.
- Able to work in a team or alone.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design road, rail, public transport and active travel projects.
- Contribute to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO) and procurement processes.
- Prepare contract documents, administer contracts and supervise construction.
- Coordinate design work and reporting with project teams.
