Job summary
AtkinsRéalis, a leading engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Engineer to lead planning and design of transport projects in Ireland, based in Dublin or Dundalk. The role requires delivering road, rail, public transport and active travel schemes, and involvement in statutory and procurement processes.
Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, Chartered status or near to it, and hands-on experience with design software.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Level 8/9) with Chartered Engineer or close to Chartership.
- Relevant consultancy/construction experience in transport planning and design.
- Strong knowledge of transport design standards and ability to translate into buildable designs.
Responsibilities
- Manage planning and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel projects across Ireland.
- Contribute to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO) and procurement processes.
- Prepare contract documents and administer contracts; supervise construction and manage commercial aspects.
- Lead design teams and develop client relationships; support tender proposals and bids.
