Job summary

Expeditors in Dublin is seeking a detail‑oriented logistics dispatcher to support the dispatch and collection of shipments across Ireland. You will liaise with operations, negotiate costs where appropriate, and ensure hauliers operate in line with Expeditors requirements.

Typical duties include coordinating deliveries throughout Ireland, managing driver sheets for the Dublin area, and handling interdepartmental billing on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industry experience.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the deliveries throughout Ireland.
• Complete and delegate the daily drivers sheets for the Dublin area.
• Manage all country deliveries through approved country hauliers.
• Maintain the collection database & coordinate pickups with drivers throughout the day.
• Delegate domestic jobs for the Dublin Office.
• Responsible for interdepartmental & external billing on a monthly basis.
• Monitor the collections & airport drivers.
• Source pricing for deliveries or collections where needed.
• Organise any special deliveries or collections where needed.
