Job summary

Swissport International AG seeks a Trucking Co-Ordinator to oversee the Irish trucking operation and report to the Trucking Manager. You will supervise planning of our trucks and sub-contractors across Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, and Shannon, and coordinate with UK offices to meet high quality standards for shipments.

You will work with the cargo office and warehouse staff to ensure timely execution, accurate billing, and exceptional customer service. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trucking or logistics.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with logistics software.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and safety standards is a plus.
• Flexible to work weekends and rotate shifts as required.

Swissport is seeking a Trucking Co-Ordinator to oversee the Irish Trucking Operation and report to the Trucking Manager for Ireland. The role will see you take responsibility for managing and supervising the planning of our trucks and sub-contractors throughout our logistics network in Ireland. As part of a small team, you will be overseeing day-to-day operations in our trucking department at Dublin, ensuring all shipments and deliveries/collections are handled and executed in a timely and efficient manner. You will also work closely with the cargo office and warehouse staff at Dublin, Cork, Shannon and the respective UK offices to ensure that all trucks are correctly planned, loaded and dispatched to meet the high standards for quality and accuracy that is required by our customers.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain daily billing packs for truck movements to ensure all charges correctly gathered and applied, liaise with our accounts to team to address any queries before month end.
