Job summary

Swissport International AG seeks a Trucking Co-Ordinator to oversee the Irish trucking operation and report to the Trucking Manager. You will supervise planning of our trucks and sub-contractors across Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, and Shannon, and coordinate with UK offices to meet high quality standards for shipments.

You will work with the cargo office and warehouse staff to ensure timely execution, accurate billing, and exceptional customer service. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trucking or logistics.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with logistics software.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and safety standards is a plus.
• Flexible to work weekends and rotate shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily trucking operations.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Schedule routing, dispatching, and tracking of trucking activities.
• Maintain daily billing packs and liaise with accounts for month-end queries.
• Resolve shipment issues and provide quotes/support to customers.
• Liaise with customers for information and scheduling as needed.
