Job summary

Expeditors in Ireland is seeking a Customs Coordinator to manage the clearance of freight documentation with Irish and international authorities. You will guide customers on customs regulation requirements in origin and destination countries and ensure compliance across the network.

The role involves daily interaction with customs authorities and reviewing policies, delivering excellent service to assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in customs brokerage or relevant education.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish customs procedures & systems.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate to customers and colleagues.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Windows and email software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customs clearance documentation for the customer base.
• Deal with the customs authority on a daily basis.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
• Be the specialist for all customs compliance issues and resolve issues with customers.
• Review policies, procedures and controls and keep them updated.
• Ensure regulations are in place for all customers/business and identify improvements.
• Utilise Expeditors Network for a uniform regional approach and best practices.
• Support assigned key accounts to meet their needs.
• Keep up to date with new customs regulations and implement changes.
