Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Representative to grow our Builders Providers business from Abbeyleix, Laois. The role covers Tipperary, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly and Carlow, with a strong emphasis on business development to build a client base for the new store.

You will manage trade customer relationships, visit sites, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and drive sales targets while representing the brand professionally across the territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales or business development.
• Strong relationships with builders and contractors.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with trade and construction customers.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities across the territory.
• Visit builders, contractors, tradespeople, construction sites and commercial customers.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries and potential sales opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within agreed parameters.
• Work towards agreed sales, margin and revenue targets.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up opportunities.
• Develop product knowledge and provide informed advice.
