Force Recruitment and Outsourcing is seeking an Area Sales Manager for a field-based role across Ireland, reporting to the Head of Sales.

You will grow sales in the territory from the east coast to Kerry, nurturing existing customers and winning new business while building strong relationships with key accounts and buying groups.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting sales targets and forecasts.
• Comfortable using a CRM; full driving licence.

Job description

Our client is a well established manufacturer supplying the construction and building products sector across Ireland and the UK. They are growing, and they are hiring an Area Sales Manager.

This is a field based role covering a territory that runs from the east coast south west to Kerry, reporting to the Head of Sales.

What you will do

• Grow sales across your territory, looking after existing customers and winning new ones
• Build long term relationships with key accounts and buying groups
• Plan your own journeys and calls, and manage your accounts end to end
• Hit your annual sales target
• Keep customer and account information up to date in the CRM

What you need

• A track record in field sales, managing a territory and growing sales year on year
• Experience working to sales targets and forecasts
• Comfortable using a CRM
• Full driving licence

Experience selling building products, particularly into builders’ merchants, is a real advantage.

What is on offer

• €65,000 to €70,000 basic, depending on experience
