Job summary

Respond Housing Association in Dublin is seeking a Tenant Relations Officer to deliver high-quality tenant-focused services. This fixed-term, full-time role supports the Tenant Relations Team and reports to the Housing Manager.

The successful candidate will engage with tenants, local authorities and community groups, manage allocations and re-lettings, and ensure estates are well maintained. This 6-month maternity cover requires hands-on service delivery and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in housing, tenant management, or related discipline desirable.
• Demonstrable experience in customer services and tenancy management.
• Experience with anti-social behaviour and tenancy support desirable.
• Proficient with IT-based management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure estates are safe and well maintained with tenant engagement at the core.
• Carry out regular estate inspections and monitor service contracts.
• Engage with tenants and community groups to encourage involvement and feedback.
• Address complaints of nuisance or anti-social behaviour to sustain tenancies.
• Take responsibility for effective lettings processes and smooth sign-ups for new tenants.
• Represent Respond at external meetings and liaise with Local Authorities to nominate new tenants.
