Job summary

Force Recruitment and Outsourcing is seeking a Sales Representative to develop and grow business across Ireland, with ownership of the full sales cycle in pharma, biotech, medical devices and electronics sectors. Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new sales opportunities, generate leads and target potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through to quotation, negotiation and close.
  • Meet customers to understand their technical, operational and commercial requirements.
  • Build relationships with engineering, manufacturing, quality, validation, procurement and senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare quotations, technical submissions and solution proposals where required.
  • Present and negotiate solutions, demonstrating clear commercial value to the customer.
  • Demonstrate relevant portable equipment and instrumentation.
  • Organise customer visits and participate in conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs and networking events.
  • Support marketing and MarCom activity within the Irish market.
  • Keep up to date with relevant industry guidance, regulations and market developments.
  • Monitor competitor activity and developments.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline information and sales forecasts.
  • Work closely with technical, applications and service teams to ensure the right solution is delivered.
  • Take ownership of the Irish territory and proactively identify opportunities to grow the business.

Reporting to: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Director

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to take responsibility for developing and growing the business across Ireland.

The role will focus on customers within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and electronics sectors, with ownership of the full sales cycle across the company's portfolio of products and services.

This is a highly autonomous, customer-facing role for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering technical solutions that provide genuine value to customers.

The business places strong emphasis on entrepreneurialism, innovation, customer focus and individual accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research and identify new sales opportunities, generate leads and target potential customers.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • 3–5+ years' experience in B2B technical sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Experience selling into pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, electronics or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience selling technical products, instrumentation, equipment, systems or services.
  • Strong selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate technical understanding into clear commercial value propositions.
  • Confidence in customer presentations, public speaking and industry events.
  • Understanding of cleanrooms, contamination control or environmental monitoring would be advantageous.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.
  • Ability to work autonomously from a home-based office, with approximately 80% customer-facing / field-based activity.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and commercially focused approach.
  • Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
