Job summary

Builders Providers in Castlebar, Co. Mayo is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join their experienced team. The role involves preparing quotations, processing customer orders, providing technical product advice and supporting trade and commercial customers.

The successful candidate will have experience in builders merchants, construction products or technical sales, plus strong customer service, numerical and IT skills with ERP systems. Based in Castlebar with easy access to Mayo towns.

Qualifications

Previous experience in Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Trade Counter roles.
Strong commercial awareness and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Good numerical skills with accurate quotation preparation.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy sales office.
Strong IT skills and experience with ERP or sales management systems.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
Prepare accurate quotations for trade and commercial customers.
Process customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
Price projects and prepare competitive quotations.
Assist with tender enquiries and commercial pricing submissions.
Develop relationships with existing customers and identify new sales opportunities.
Provide technical advice on construction and building materials.
Work with purchasing, warehouse and external sales teams.
Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into sales.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Keep records using the company’s sales system.
