Fifty5Blue is launching a nationwide panel in the Republic of Ireland and seeks field technicians to install and maintain TV, broadband, and software metering equipment in panellist homes. You will travel regionally in a company car, ensuring accurate data capture and high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication, enjoy problem solving, and can work autonomously in a remote role while supporting wider operations to meet deadlines.

Job Details

We help partners understand the changing advertising landscape. Specialising in audience measurement, consumer targeting and in‑depth intelligence into paid, owned and earned media, their global coverage and local expertise enable better understanding of media audiences and their relationships with brands.

This is a 12 Month FTC Contract position, based in the field; our field techs travel to visit panellists in their homes, as well as carrying out some remote activities, working from home.

A company car and fuel card will be provided to you for this role.

Overview

Fifty5Blue has been awarded the contract to deliver the Television Audience Measurement service in the Republic of Ireland from January 2028. As part of this, we will build a new panel to measure television consumption across the Republic of Ireland, using our state‑of‑the‑art metering technology and backend systems to deliver high‑quality, accurate data to the industry every day. Our Field Technicians play a key role in our operational delivery. Technicians are the face of Fifty5Blue to our panellists, representing Fifty5Blue to the outside world. They are responsible for installing and maintaining our TV, Broadband and Software metering equipment in panellist homes; and testing the accuracy of the data from the installed equipment and software. Travelling regionally, in a company car, our Techs are fully trained in the installation and maintenance processes and deliver flawless client‑centric service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining metering equipment and software in panel homes
• Providing outstanding customer service with integrity; and being part of a team that delivers a standout experience for our panel members
• Educating and encouraging panel members in the accurate use and care of the metering equipment
• Working with our wider operational teams to ensure SLAs and project deadlines are met on time
• Investigating and trouble‑shooting any issues
• Liaising with the Panel Service team to ensure efficient service to panellists
• Accurately logging and reporting panel home activity
• Working in collaboration with the rest of the Ops team to maintain accurate stock levels of metering equipment as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience of working in domestic environments
• Prepared to drive regionally within the Republic of Ireland
• A full driving licence with no more than 6 points (a company vehicle is provided)
• C.R.B check documentation
• May be required to work some weekends
