Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Talent Acquisition Team Lead to guide an in-house recruitment team supporting pharmaceutical operations in Ireland. You will translate the Ireland TA strategy into high‑quality execution across sites and business areas, balancing strategic workforce partnership with hands‑on delivery.

You will lead, coach, and develop the TA team, manage workload and hiring plans, and partner with site leaders and HR to ensure a compliant, efficient and inclusive recruitment process across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive recruitment experience in fast‑paced, highly regulated environments (pharma/biotech preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership including coaching, performance enablement and workload management.
• Proven success delivering end‑to‑end recruitment for professional and leadership roles.
• Experience with ATS, recruitment analytics and market insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop an assigned Talent Acquisition team.
• Translate company TA strategy into practical priorities and plans.
• Manage workloads and monitor delivery against hiring plans and priorities.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for senior and specialist roles with high quality execution.
• Build strong partnerships with site leaders and HR to drive workforce plans.
