Job summary
Resilience in Ireland seeks a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred support across residential and community services. You will help people achieve greater independence, develop life skills and participate fully in their communities.
Daily tasks include assisting with daily living, personal care and community access while upholding dignity. The role involves working with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote safeguarding and positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- QQI Level 5 qualification required.
- Qualification in Healthcare, Social Care or related discipline.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred practice.
- Experience in disability or social care.
- Full driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality person-centred support to individuals across residential and community services.
- Act as a Key Worker for allocated individuals.
- Support personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Administer medication in line with policy.
- Assist individuals to access their community.
- Support daily household activities.
- Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes.
