Job summary

Resilience is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred assistance in residential and community services in County Cork, Ireland. You'll help individuals achieve greater independence, develop life skills and participate in their communities, delivering high-quality support, personal care, and daily living activities while collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • QQI Level 5 qualification required.
  • Qualification in Healthcare, Social Care or related discipline.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred practice.
  • Experience working in disability or social care.
  • Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality person-centred support.
  • Act as a Key Worker for allocated individuals.
  • Support personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Administer medication in line with policy.
  • Assist individuals to access their community.
  • Support daily household activities.
  • Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes.

About the Role

As a Support Worker you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals across residential and community services, helping people achieve greater independence, develop life skills and participate fully in their communities.

Every day is different. You’ll support people with daily living, personal care, community access, education, employment, leisure and achieving their personal goals.
