Residential Support Worker Purpose of Role:

Barrg Healthcare is a leading private health and social care provider delivering nationwide residential and day services across mental health, disability, and social care. We are looking for a Support Worker to deliver person-centred, holistic care to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities or autism in a residential setting-working alongside their circle of support to build independence, community inclusion, and equal citizenship.

Critical Requirements:

• Right to Work: You MUST already hold full, unrestricted Right to Work in Ireland (Stamp 4, EU/EEA/UK Passport). No visa sponsorship is available.
• Driver's License: Valid Full Driving License required.
• Support Worker : Minimum QQI Level 5 in Health or Social Care (or equivalent)
• Age Requirement: Must be 25 or older for insurance purposes.
• Applications that do not meet all three criteria above will not be processed.

Role Details & Compensation Salary:

Salary: €32,240 to €40,013

Locations: Mallow Co. Cork or Leamlara Co. Cork

Job Type: Full-time & Part-timeavailable

Shifts & Hours: 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM-8:00 PM and 8:00 PM-8:00 AM). Hours agreed upon offer; flexibility for 24/7 cover required.

Reporting To: Team Lead.

Probation & Vetting: 6 months probation. Subject to reference checks, Garda Vetting, and international security clearance (if resident abroad for >6 months post-age 16).
