Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland is seeking an experienced Head of Learning & Development to lead our organisation's annual L&D strategy, drive needs analysis with managers, and design development programmes that support employee growth and leadership capability.

You will oversee the L&D budget, manage the LMS and onboarding experience, and collaborate with the HR team on cross-functional projects, equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in L&D/HR related field.
• Experience in a similar L&D leadership role.
• Proven people management experience.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of the organisation's annual Learning & Development Strategy.
• Drive the annual Training Needs Analysis process with people managers and leadership teams.
• Design, deliver, and enhance internal development programmes supporting employee growth, leadership capability, and career progression.
• Oversee the annual Learning & Development budget.
• Manage the internal Learning Management System and structured e-learning offer.
• Oversee the full employee onboarding experience.
• Design and manage learning initiatives strengthening employee capability, performance, and professional development.
• Lead the annual performance management cycle, including employee training, mid-year reviews, and year-end performance processes.
• Support Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
• Manage and support the Learning & Development Coordinator.
• Collaborate with the HR team on cross-functional projects and people initiatives.
