Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland seeks an experienced Learning & Development professional to own the L&D roadmap, design digital learning, and lead leadership development initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders and HR to deliver targeted solutions and measure impact across business units.

The role involves coordinating training plans, managing LMS initiatives, and coaching stakeholders to drive business outcomes through effective learning programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years’+ experience in learning and development, including sourcing and coordinating training, conducting learning needs analysis, designing learning solutions, and delivering online or in-person programmes
• Strong working knowledge of learning technologies, LMS platforms, and online content providers
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools and online delivery
• Experience using Articulate Storyline essential
• Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional methods, and training techniques
• Experience adapting content and conversations to audience needs
• Knowledge of core learning theories, frameworks, and assessments
• Ability to define, scope, and track metrics using data to support the learning story
• Experience consulting with senior leaders and stakeholders
• Proven track record of establishing relationships and acting as a trusted advisor

Responsibilities

• Implement and support the Learning & Development roadmap, including digital learning, compliance training, and leadership development initiatives
• Conduct learning needs analyses and develop targeted learning solutions
• Design and deliver learning content through workshops, digital learning tools, eLearning, and peer learning
• Develop business unit training plans and oversee learning programmes and projects
• Evaluate learning initiatives through reporting, metrics, and impact assessments
• Lead learning communications campaigns and promote continuous development
• Coordinate and support the annual performance development cycle
• Design and communicate the annual performance development framework
• Deliver training, toolkits, and resources for managers and employees
• Facilitate workshops on feedback, coaching, and performance conversations
• Monitor participation and engagement and provide stakeholder insights
• Support implementation and optimisation of the Learning Management System
• Leverage learning technologies and digital tools to enhance employee learning
• Identify and recommend innovative learning solutions
• Partner with senior leaders, people managers, HR colleagues, and subject matter experts
• Manage relationships with external learning providers and vendors
• Advise on learning and development best practices
• Coach stakeholders on development approaches, business impact, and return on investment
• Manage learning-related queries through the learning inbox
• Track learning requests, approvals, and programme participation
• Support mandatory regulatory and compliance training
• Promote learning initiatives through company-wide communications and Town Hall presentations
