Job summary

Asset Recruitment is seeking an HR Partner for our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, to join the Dublin team and play a crucial role in employee relations and change management during organisational transformation.

You will report to the Head of People and Labour Relations – Ireland, supporting reduction in force activities and collective redundancy where applicable, and working with leaders to ensure fair, compliant processes and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supporting reduction in force activities; collective redundancy is a plus.
• Strong experience in labor relations or employee relations.
• Experience leading investigations and providing clear recommendations.
• Knowledge of labor law and compliance requirements.
• Ability to write clear, well-structured content and adapt to AI-enabled processes.

Responsibilities

• Support reduction in force activities from early planning through completion, including coordinating timelines, documenting key steps, and tracking actions that support a fair and compliant process.
• Partner with leaders and other teams to assess workforce impacts, support role selection and consultation activities, and help prepare clear communication for affected employees.
• Contribute to risk reviews by identifying process gaps, escalating concerns, and helping ensure required steps are completed on time and in line with local requirements.
• Support meetings connected to reduction in force activities, including consultation sessions, follow-up actions, and responses to employee questions within your scope.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, grievances, and disputes.
• Represent management in employee representative group and labor relations matters, including negotiation, interpretation, and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
• Advise management on maintaining a respectful workplace during change.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and support improvements based on findings.
• Coach and mentor junior staff. This role does not include direct people-management responsibility.
