Job summary

Rhenus Ireland is seeking an HR Manager/HR Business Partner to partner with the Director and managers, aligning people plans with national and group HR objectives. You will support management on HR topics, lead recruitment and onboarding, and drive talent development programs across the country.

You will review compensation, manage employee relations, and promote engagement while ensuring compliance with local labour law and HR best practices within a matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional HR qualification required or equivalent.
• 5+ years in HR Manager / HR Business Partner roles.
• Strong knowledge of local labour law.
• Experience in logistics/freight forwarding advantageous.
• Experience in a matrix organisation advantageous.
• Proven recruitment and onboarding experience.
• Proven people development experience.
• Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align people plans with country, Overland and Rhenus HR objectives.
• Provide guidance to management and staff on HR topics.
• Lead recruitment strategy and onboarding for new talent.
• Deliver talent programmes for internal growth and leadership.
• Support succession planning and high-potential identification.
• Oversee compensation and benefits benchmarking locally.
• Drive employee relations and engagement activities.
• Develop HR policies, data accuracy, and HR system usage.
• Grow and mentor the local HR team.
