Job summary

The National Lottery is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in Dublin to provide expert ER support in a regulated, unionised environment. You will handle ER casework, engage with unions, and help ensure policy compliance.

The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite in Dublin City Centre, offering strong governance and cross-functional collaboration across HR. Ideal candidates have solid Employee Relations experience, familiarity with Irish employment law, and exposure to audits and governance.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in an Employee Relations HR role.
• Experience in a unionised environment and IR matters.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience supporting audits, governance and compliance.
• Exposure to HR operations or shared services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Degree in HR or related discipline; CIPD qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support to managers across ER matters with timely case management.
• Lead ER cases: grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, absence, capability.
• Support industrial relations activity and union meetings.
• Strengthen governance through audits, HR controls and documentation.
• Contribute to HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance.
• Escalate complex queries and provide sound judgement.
• Partner with cross-functional HR teams for initiatives and improvements.
