Job summary

Medtronic in Ireland is seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) specialist to lead ER strategy for a 3,000+ employee, unionized environment. You will design policies, advise managers on disciplinary, grievance and performance issues, and drive proactive ER programs that align with business needs.

The role requires a Level 8 HR/Legal degree and 4+ years in ER/HR with strong stakeholder management and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Degree level in HR / Legal or related discipline.
• 4+ years relevant industry HR experience providing expert advice and judgment
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior levels

Responsibilities

• Lead Employee Relations activities in a unionized environment (3000+ employees).
• Design and implement ER strategy aligned with business needs.
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, diversity, and harassment issues.
• Develop policies, trainings and communications; propose policy revisions.
• Prepare for WRC/legal matters and ensure policies are up to date.
