Job summary

CPL Group is seeking an Employee Relations Generalist to be based across Dublin City Centre and South Dublin with flexible hybrid working. You will lead ER cases end-to-end, provide hands-on support for high‑risk cases, and partner with operations on change projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on ER cases from start to finish, including performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability.
• Provide hands-on support for continuing, complex and high-risk cases, ensuring compliance with Irish employment law.
• Partner with Operations on organisational change projects (e.g., restructuring, redundancy, TUPE).
• Coach and upskill managers through training and 1:1 support, enhancing capability and reducing risk.
• Maintain and evolve policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure legal compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Liaise closely with ER Managers to ensure legal risks are mitigated and external counsel is engaged appropriately.
• Prepare thorough case documentation to support third party hearing and litigation processes (e.g., WRC, Labour Court).
• Monitor ER trends and data, highlighting risks and making recommendations to improve policy, practice, and employee experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
• Analyse ER metrics and trends, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic HR initiatives.
