Job summary

Ernst & Young in Ireland seeks an Employee Relations Manager to lead end-to-end ER services across business lines, reporting to the Employee Relations Director.

You'll triage and resolve complex cases, coach managers, and partner with Employment Counsel, Occupational Health and other specialists. The role blends case management with strategic impact in a dynamic, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial employee relations or HR experience in a complex, fast-paced organisation.
• Proven record of managing sensitive, high-risk casework and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and fair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage a varied portfolio of Employee Relations matters from intake to resolution.
• Provide clear, pragmatic advice to partners and managers balancing policy and risk.
• Coach managers through difficult conversations and formal processes.
• Coordinate workplace investigations and hearings with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate case records in line with data protection and governance.
• Produce regular reporting on case volumes and risk to inform decisions.
