Job summary

Barden is recruiting an experienced Business Development professional for a leading Cork facilities management and property services client. This is the first dedicated commercial hire, offering autonomy across the full sales cycle and significant visibility within the business.

You will build relationships with senior decision-makers, identify strategic opportunities, and guide proposals and tenders from initial engagement to contract.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing new business in B2B facilities management.
• Strong relationships with property owners or asset managers.
• Ability to lead tender processes and proposals.
• Experience selling solutions rather than quick transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships with major property owners and managers.
• Identify opportunities across FM, outsourcing, PM and maintenance.
• Build and manage a commercial pipeline across target accounts.
• Own the full sales process from engagement to tender.
• Translate client requirements into viable service solutions.
• Foster long-term relationships rather than transactional wins.
• Lead formal tender and bid processes with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with founder to shape BD strategy.
• Represent the business credibly with senior decision-makers.
