Job summary

Homesavers Mullingar is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop the Mullingar team, oversee daily operations, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role requires strong leadership, staff scheduling, payroll handling, and stock management in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will drive sales, maintain store standards, and collaborate with head office to implement company policies and ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced or high-volume environment is desirable but not essential.
• Basic Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the store team by setting clear expectations.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Manage roster, attendance, and payroll processes efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times while maintaining store standards and safety.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate order placement requirements.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.
• Drive performance and achieve store targets.
• Monitor performance and take action to improve results.
• Manage daily operations including opening/closing of store and cash handling.
• Oversee stock control, deliveries, and stockroom organisation.
• Ensure company procedures and policies are followed.
• Conduct regular checks on pricing, inventory, stock accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment.
• Communicate effectively with head office and higher management
