Job summary

Reap, a global fintech, is seeking a Staff Engineer/Tech Lead in Ireland to own the embedded finance platform. You will shape architecture, scale systems, and drive AI-enabled engineering across teams, working closely with Card Engineering Managers to deliver product initiatives.

You will lead architectural modernization, tackle tech debt, and mentor senior engineers, while setting coding standards and guiding cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering experience with staff/tech lead level.
• Experience in distributed systems and API platforms at scale.
• Ability to drive large initiatives across teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the embedded finance platform.
• Lead AI-assisted engineering adoption across product teams.
• Collaborate with Card Engineering Managers to align platform with product delivery needs.
• Lead architecture reviews and modernization of embedded finance systems.
• Mentor senior engineers and set coding standards.
