Jobgether SRL is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer for Money Movement, based in Ireland, with remote collaboration across the EMEA region. You will lead the design and build of a trust accounting platform handling financial records and fund management with reliability and auditability.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Two years at Staff Engineer level or equivalent leadership.
• Strong backend language proficiency and production-grade services.
• Proven experience delivering systems used at scale.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS) and observability.
• Excellent communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and greenfield development of the trust accounting platform.
• Design, build, operate secure, scalable backend services for financial records and funds.
• Establish foundations for financial correctness, data integrity, and compliance.
• Implement automated testing, quality gates, and CI/CD integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across teams.
• Ensure integration with existing products and scalability.
