Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager: New Business in Ireland. You will own the zero-to-one journey, from market research to prototyping and securing the first paying customers, while collaborating with commercial, product, and engineering teams in a remote-first, international setting.

You will lead early-stage sales efforts, validate new business hypotheses, and build robust business cases to drive growth in climate tech energy solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in power and energy markets or related strategy roles.
• Able to identify, evaluate, and pursue new commercial opportunities in early-stage settings.
• Strong networking across European power markets and energy players.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate new business opportunities adjacent to the existing platform.
• Conduct market research through expert interviews and industry analysis.
• Develop hypotheses and test them with MVPs and product demos.
• Lead early-stage sales and secure first paying customers.
• Build business cases and present recommendations to executives.
• Facilitate handover of opportunities to commercial/product teams.
