Job summary

CPL Healthcare seeks a Speech and Language Therapist to support adults in disability services, focusing on communication needs, functional outcomes and quality of life. The role involves collaboration with families, support staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Based in Wicklow with travel across Leinster, the post requires a flexible approach to meet service needs and to deliver person-centred therapy across community settings.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Current registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Minimum of two years’ post-graduate clinical experience.
• Membership of IASLT is desirable.
• Full clean Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle and appropriate business insurance.
• Valid working rights for Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention and support to adults accessing disability services, with a focus on communication needs, functional outcomes and quality of life.
• Embed communication supports within everyday environments and person-centred plans.

Hours: 39 hours per week

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)

Salary: From €43,268 per annum dependent on experience

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide assessment, intervention and support to adults accessing disability services, with a particular focus on communication needs, functional outcomes and quality of life. Working closely with individuals, families, support staff and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will help ensure that communication supports are embedded within everyday environments and person-centred plans.

The role is primarily based in Wicklow and will involve travel across services throughout the Leinster region. A flexible approach is required to meet service needs.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
