Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions is recruiting a Senior Speech and Language Therapist for an Adult services MDT in Charleville, Co. Cork. CORU registration and 3+ years post-graduate experience are required; experience with intellectual disability or Autism is desirable.

The role involves clinical assessment and intervention in communication and FEDS, with supervision, CPD and ongoing learning supported by the team. A full driving licence and car access are essential for this post.

Qualifications

• CORU registration is required.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience.
• Experience with intellectual disability and/or Autism is desirable.
• FEDS competencies are essential.
• Knowledge of ADMA, New Directions in Day Services, and HIQA in residential settings is required.
• Full driving licence and access to a car are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality clinical assessment and intervention, focusing on communication and FEDS.
• Work within a multidisciplinary Adult services team in Charleville to support service users in living meaningful lives.
• Engage in supervision, CPD and self-directed learning to maintain professional practice.

TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) are currently recruiting for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join an Adult services multidisciplinary team based in Charleville, Co. Cork.

The Senior Speech and Language therapist is a key appointment to the team in providing high quality clinical assessment and intervention, primarily in the areas of communication and FEDS, supported by engagement with clinical supervision, CPD and self-directed learning. In conjunction with other team members, the SLT will contribute to providing a quality service with a healthy balance of supports in enabling service users to live a meaningful life of their choosing.

Key Requirements:

• CORU registration
• 3 years post-graduate experience
• Experience of working with people with an intellectual disability and/or Autism is desirable
• FEDS competencies are essential
• Knowledge of Assisted Decision-Making Act (ADMA), New Directions as it applies to Day Services, and HIQA in residential settings is required
• Full drivers license and use of a car
