Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking a Specification Sales Manager - Joinery Door Sets to lead specification field sales across Ireland, including Dublin, focusing on pre-hung door sets and the client’s range of doors.

You will build relationships with architects, engineers and design teams, target residential projects, and help develop education, healthcare and commercial opportunities while delivering CPDs and collaborating with regional teams.

Job Title: Specification Sales Manager - Joinery Door Sets

Area to be covered: Ireland - access to Dublin

Remuneration: €60,000-€85,000 Neg. + 15% Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Joinery Door Sets will involve:

• Specification field sales role selling a manufactured range of pre-hung door sets as well as our clients' own range of doors and fire doors
• Focussed on developing relationships with architects, engineers, fire engineers consultants and design teams as well as some housing developers
• New business role, you will be the 1st dedicated specification field sales hire
• Targeting predominantly the residential market (e.g. housing schemes of (Apply online only) houses or apartment blocks of (phone number removed) bedrooms)
• Our client is also interested in breaking into projects for education, healthcare and commercial
• Tasked with creating an order bank of €3-5m over the first 2 years of employment
• Delivering CPDs
• Working closely with the regional sales, estimating and technical teams

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Joinery Door Sets with:

• Proven track record in construction product specification sales
• Must have a demonstrable track record of building relationships with architects, engineers, fire engineers consultants and design teams as well as some housing developers
• Specific knowledge of doors, fire doors, joinery, ironmongery or related building products would be advantageous
• Commutable to Dublin (where 80% of the clients are based)
• Must be technically savvy
• May consider UK based specification sales professionals wiling to relocate to DublinPreferably sold residential projects, but open to experience within; commercial, healthcare and education
• New business hunter (ability to generate and engage with business partners to build new business)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to execute an effective sales strategy
