Job summary

TTM Healthcare Limited in Ireland seeks an experienced Social Care Manager to lead a residential service for children and young people on a permanent basis. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a relevant Social Care degree, 4+ years in health or social care (including 2 years in supervision), and strong knowledge of childcare standards and regulations. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Social Care or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Health or Social Care setting, incl. 2 years supervisory.
• Strong knowledge of residential childcare standards and regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication, decision-making and conflict-management skills.
• Full, clean manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of Social Care Leaders and Social Care Workers.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centred care is consistently delivered.
• Oversee compliance with Tusla requirements, national standards and legislation.
• Manage staffing, training, budgets and the residential environment.
• Build relationships with Tusla, CAMHS, An Garda Síochána, schools and stakeholders.
• Support staff performance, development and service improvement.
• Participate in regional on-call service and provide leadership during challenging situations.
