Job summary

Stewarts Care is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist – Staff Grade to join the CDNT6 team on a permanent basis. You will provide a full SLT service including assessment, diagnostics and intervention for children with complex needs, working with families and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold a qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the CORU Registration Board.
• Practitioners must maintain annual CORU registration.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Effective planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Experience of working with children and adolescents with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a speech and language service including assessment, diagnostics and intervention for children with complex needs and their families.
• Deliver ongoing SLT service delivery within the CDNT6 team.
• Work within the SLT service under professional supervision.
