Job summary

AllSite Staffing is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major residential development in Kinsale, Co. Cork. The role involves setting out, coordinating with the design team and sub-contractors, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years' site engineering/management experience on residential projects, with knowledge of building regulations and HomeBond standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 2 years' Site Engineering/Site Management experience, preferably on residential projects.
• Knowledge of current building regulations and HomeBond certification standards.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and checking subcontractor works for accuracy.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards.
• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and the design team.
• Managing technical queries, RFIs and material approvals.
• Assisting with the BCAR process, inspections and close-out of design-team observations.
• Maintaining site records and site diaries.
• Supporting procurement, purchase orders and checking deliveries.
• Assisting with forward planning to ensure the programme remains on track.
• Reviewing RAMS and assisting with permits for works.
• Promoting and maintaining a strong Health & Safety culture on site.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major residential development in Kinsale, Co. Cork.

This role could be particularly attractive to an Engineer currently living in Kinsale or West Cork and commuting into Cork City who would welcome the opportunity to work closer to home while still progressing their career on a substantial, high-quality residential project.

Our client is an established residential developer with a strong track record of delivering quality homes and communities in Ireland. The successful candidate will join an experienced site team on a large residential development in Kinsale.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Foreman and wider construction team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day delivery of the development.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and checking subcontractor works for accuracy
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards
• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and the design team

What We're Looking For
