• Comfortable using service management or dealership software and standard office applications.
• Knowledge of automotive systems or an interest in developing technical understanding of vehicles.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in automotive, business, or customer service fields is an advantage.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Service Advisor role is based at PORTER FORD SLIGO in Sligo. The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling service inquiries, booking appointments, and coordinating vehicle check-in and check-out. Daily tasks include explaining recommended repairs and maintenance, preparing accurate cost estimates, liaising with technicians to track progress, and updating customers throughout the service process. The role also involves managing service documentation, processing invoices, and ensuring aftersales standards are met in line with Ford guidelines. The Service Advisor will work closely with the service and parts teams to deliver efficient, customer-focused service and support overall workshop productivity.
