Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited in Dublin is seeking a Senior Security Intelligence Engineer to analyze threats and develop actionable intelligence for AWS services and customers in the European Sovereign Cloud.

You will harness large data sets, perform question-driven analysis, and work across teams to drive innovative analytic techniques, automation, and threat intelligence products.

Eligibility requires EU citizenship and being located in the EU.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response.
• Experience in scripting for automation (Python) and advanced SQL.
• Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent.
• This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep dive analysis of malicious artifacts.
• Analyze large unstructured data sets to discover new threats, uncover trends, and identify anomalies indicative of malicious activities.
• Create security techniques and automation for internal use that enable you to operate at high speed and broad scale.
• Contribute to Amazon's understanding of the current threat landscape and the techniques, tactics, and procedures associated with specific threats.
• Draft and publish finished written threat intelligence products based on findings.
• Periodic on-call responsibilities.
