Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited in Dublin is seeking a Senior Security Intelligence Engineer to analyze advanced cyber threats and generate actionable intelligence for AWS services and customers within the EU Sovereign Cloud.

You will perform deep-dive analysis of malicious artifacts, process large data sets, create automation, and publish finished threat intelligence products; periodic on-call responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with security frameworks, IAM, incident response, mobile/cloud/AI security, threat intel, and pentesting.
• Scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL.
• Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent.
• EU citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep dive analysis of malicious artifacts.
• Analyze large, unstructured data sets to discover new threats, uncover trends, and identify anomalies.
• Create security techniques and automation for internal use that enable you to operate at high speed and broad scale.
• Contribute to Amazon's understanding of the current threat landscape and the techniques, tactics, and procedures associated with specific threats.
• Draft and publish finished written threat intelligence products based on findings.
• Periodic on-call responsibilities.
