Job summary

Amazon EU SARL, Irish Branch - P81 is seeking an experienced security engineer to scale incident response capabilities in the cloud. You will lead IR operations, develop automated security solutions on AWS, and mentor teams while engaging with customers to improve security postures across platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with service teams, innovation, and on-call responsibilities to support global customers with planet-scale security operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in scripting, programming, or security code reviewing in common languages (Python/Java/C++).
• Experience in security operations, risk management and incident response.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP(S), DNS and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee incident response operations.
• Become a deep technical resource earning the trust of customer stakeholders during a security event.
• Collaborate with Amazonians, partners, and customers to build threat detection and IR capabilities.
• Design, build, and deploy solutions to automate security operations and incident response on AWS.
• Develop high-quality content to assist consultants, partners, and customers.
• Mentor and invest in our consultants, partners, and customers to raise the bar.
• On-call required.
